Our Company’s Timeline: From Concept Through Commitment
25 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
1996 – 2000
In 1996, Founder Beverly Nichols was granted a state license to operate a home care agency, establishing Beverly’s Home Health Care—a reputable organization that serves the City of New York and Nassau County.
2001 – 2009
The agency established a trustful reputation and respect for professionalism and home care, coordinated referrals & in-home services with families and their loved ones, and served adults who are homebound due to illness, temporary disability, or fragility (geriatric shut-ins).
2010 – 2019
A continued period of growth and service. The agency expanded its service area from just the five boroughs to including Nassau County. The agency also expanded its client base to including pediatric care and maintained the establishment of trust, service, and professionalism.
2020 – Present
Beverly’s Home Health Care prepares to celebrate its 25th year of operations. The organization responded quickly to the demands of providing safe services in the COVID-19 pandemic.
We Care
Inviting a home health care nurse or aide into your loved ones’ homes when they are most vulnerable is never an easy decision. Many questions need answers: Do you or your family member require highly skilled nursing care after surgery? Does your child need in-home care? Do they need help recovering strength and coordination after an accident? Has an elderly loved one begun to experience cognitive decline or physical deterioration, and has it become too much to deal with alone? How do I know that the RN or other professional is able to deliver the care my mother, father, or child needs? Will the family member be properly cared for with compassion?
And what about the Beverly’s Home Health Care staff? Are they properly accredited? Will my provider have the appropriate training and experience? Will this become a financial burden on me? Is home health care the best option for us?
You’ve taken the first step to getting answers and finding a high-quality solution to meet your needs. The mission of Beverly’s Home Health Care, and our guiding principle, is an abiding commitment to maximizing each client’s health and well-being. We screen every staff member to ensure they are highly qualified, trustworthy, reliable, honest, able, and willing to provide consistent, expert care for every client. We can provide skilled nursing after a hospitalization, assistance with daily activities to help even seniors battling multiple co-morbidities (more than one chronic or acute illness) to age safely at home.
We care. We are here to help.

Beverly’s Values
Trust and Integrity
Ensuring your family member’s privacy, safety, and security is essential. We earn client’s and family member’s trust by providing exemplary and consistent client service. We never compromise on care. We provide ongoing monitoring and professional supervision with our fully-vetted and trustworthy staff to ensure that everything is going well in the home and that the care plan is executed as designed.
Personalized Care
Each client is different, as are their needs. Based on a comprehensive assessment and consultation with your physician, BHHC designs a care plan that addresses each client’s physical and behavioral health needs.
Following the assessment, options are presented to the client and their family that will best address their needs.
Independence (Self-Sufficiency)
We understand an individual’s desire to stay at home. The care plans implemented by our staff enable many clients to avoid institutional care.
The goal of our care is to assist each client to maximize their independence, which we foster by emphasizing safety, dignity, and quality of life in the clients’ homes.
